Volunteers

Skylands Triathlon / Duathlon is a labor of love for the North Hunterdon Rotary Club for over 23. The majority of the Club's year is built around this fundraising event.

Everyone in the Rotary Club volunteers their time to organize the most professional, safe and enjoyable event possible, ultimately to benefit our comminity and individuals in need.

Additionally, our local Interact Club from North Hunterdon High School provides many enthusiastic volunteers on race day.

"Many hands makes light work" is a motto that urges involvement by all Club members.

Many professional volunteers are needed race day.

State Troopers from our local Perryville barracks control the intersections of the more traveled parts of the course. The community is indebted to their service.

The swim leg of Skylands is professionally supervised by the Clinton Rescue Squad. Although the Reservoir infrequently has a small wind chop, the rescue squad covers the course on surfboard and by motor boat for the safety of the athletes.
