"To the Athletes of the Skylands Triathlon,
On behalf of the Holiday Inn Select Clinton, please accept out apologies for any confusion you may have faced during the reservation process for your stay during the Skylands Triathlon event in September.
We are pleased to announce that as of June 2009, the Holiday Inn Select is proudly under new ownership and management. With that comes addressing some challenges our hotel was faced with as the transition took place.
For those of you who attempted to make reservations at the Holiday Inn Select via the Skylands Triathlon website, we have come to learn that a competitor had redirected the reservation link to another hotel. Thanks to the kindness of one of your fellow athletes, we just became aware of the situation and, with the help of the North Hunterdon Rotary and the organizers of the triathlon, we have corrected the issues on the website. Sadly, if you made your reservations to stay with us via the internet link on the website, there is a chance that your reservation is, in fact, at another hotel. Should you find that to be the case, and your intent was to stay with us at the Holiday Inn, please feel free to contact our hotel directly and we will make you a new reservation immediately. We are currently holding several rooms for the guests of the Triathlon and will be releasing the discounted rate on September 7, 2009. To make your reservation, please call us at 908-735-5111 and refer to the Skylands Triathlon or block code “STR”.
We are pleased to be offering the athletes, families and guests of the Skylands Triathlon a rate of $114.00 plus tax which will include two complimentary breakfast buffets per room in our Main Street Caf’e restaurant. The Holiday Inn Select is a full-service hotel with amenities such as Jitterbuggs Lounge, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, weight room facilities and full service dining with room service available.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and are pleased to be the preferred hotel for the North Hunterdon Rotary and the Skylands Triathlon.
